The icebox is 7 cubic feet, with an average of over 4" of insulation 6" sides, 8" bottom, and 2" top (I may go to 3" top).
I figure on ~3000 BTU loss/day with light use (not opened very much)
The engine driven cold plates are about 1700 BTUs, so they should last over 12 hours.
Used alone, a 12 V system should use about 60 amp/hours/day. (Just 2.5 amps average! good insulation pays)
used together, dare I say it, the electrical demand could be as low as 25 amp hours/day running the engine once/day.
